Eetu Makiniemi, a 4th Round Draft pick of the Carolina Hurricanes in 2017, and joined WDSE on March 5th, 2020.
Eetu played for Ilves in the Finnish Elite League this year and is set to be a high end prospect for Carolina in the upcoming years. At 6 foot 2 inches, the twenty-one year old Makiniemi has a good combination of size, quickness and athletic ability. The Finish goaltender remains overseas, developing in his homeland as a very aggressive challenger in the crease and rarely ever allows his confidence to waver.
