WDSE is excited to announce another top signing to its already growing roster, world renown Canadian curlers, Team Rachel Homan.

Team Homan, consisting of Emma Miskew, Joanne Courtney, Sarah Wilkes and skip Rachel Homan are considered one of the world’s most recognizable curling teams amongst both men and women. They were Team Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games after winning the 2017 Roar of the Rings in their hometown. The team out of the Ottawa Curling Club was the 2017 World Women’s Curling Champions, with a perfect 13-0 record in Beijing, China. They are three-time national women’s curling champions, winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in 2017, 2014 and 2013. They also competed in the Scotties in 2015, finishing third, and 2011, finishing fourth. At the world level, they won a silver medal in 2014 and a bronze medal in 2013. Team Homan has won seven titles on the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling, and are the first women’s team to win a game in a men’s Grand Slam event. Rachel Homan and Emma Miskew have curled together since they were 11 years old and won a silver medal for Canada at the 2010 World Junior Championships. Joanne Courtney joined the team during the 2014-15 season and Sarah Wilkes is now joining the team at second for the 2020-21 upcoming season!
