Mississauga Steelheads forward James Hardie has put on a season for the record books. The Steelheads sniper has broken a feat only two other players have reached in franchise history, scoring a record 76 points (40G, 36A) as a forward in a single season.

The 75-point feat was previously reached by Owen Tippett and Alex Nylander. Tippett reached the mark in two different back-to-back seasons (2106-2017 and 2017-2018).

Hardie, an NHL Draft eligible player , is considered to be one of the premier scoring threats in the OHL and has 7 GWG this season.
