After locking up Group A with an undefeated 3-0-0 record, Canada stormed past Finland, 4-1, in the Hlinka Gretzky Cup Semi-Finals to earn their place in the Gold Medal Game. Canadian forward Andrew Cristall tallied another highlight assist with his stellar play feeding teammate Denver Barkey in the third period, putting the game out of reach for Finland, and giving Canada a 4-0 lead. Canada will face Czechia or Sweden in the final Saturday August 6 in Red Deer.
