The Washington Capitals announced their annual Training Camp Roster and among the participants who are being given the opportunity to compete for a role on the team was WD Sports and Entertainment client Jake Karabela. Karabela was recently made the Capitals’ 5th round selection as the 149th pick at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft in Montreal. Karabela will have now been in Washington to participate in the Capitals’ Development and Rookie Camps ahead of taking the ice for the Main Training Camp and his first taste of NHL caliber competition.

Their 2022-23 Training Camp, presented by MedStar Health, at MedStar Capitals Iceplex with Caps Media Day on Thursday, Sept. 22, senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.

This marks the Capitals’ 16th training camp at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, the Metro-accessible, inside-the-Beltway practice facility that features two NHL-sized rinks. All on-ice sessions will be open to the public and free of charge. Washington’s training camp will include 42 forwards, 20 defensemen and six goalies, and will be broken up into three squads (Group A, Group B and Group C) and their schedules will vary.
