The Washington Capitals selected Kelowna Rockets forward Andrew Cristall with their 2nd round selection, 40th overall at the 2023 NHL Draft in Nashville.
The 5-foot-10, forward was one of the most dynamic and exciting players in the WHL, serving as an assistant captain for a young Rockets team, and leading Kelowna in every statistical category this season. The 18-year-old star posted an extraordinary stat line of 95 points (39 G, 56A) in just 54 games played with a plus-minus of +18.
