Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the Coyotes have signed defenseman Cameron Crotty to a one-year, two-way contract. As per Club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
The 6-foot-3, 212-pound Crotty registered 1-12-13 and 30 penalty minutes (PIM) in 64 games with Tucson last season, ranking fifth among Roadrunners defensemen in both assists and points. The campaign saw him set single-season highs in assists and points as a professional.
The Ottawa, ON native has played three seasons in Tucson since turning pro, recording 6-20-26 and 66 PIM in 164 games from 2020-23. He’s also played in four career AHL playoff games, three of which took place in 2023 where he registered an assist in Tucson’s series.
Crotty was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the third round (82nd overall) in the 2017 NHL Draft.
