We’re proud to announce that forward Colton Sissons has signed a two-year, $8.5 million contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The deal carries an average annual value of $4.25 million and runs through the 2027-28 NHL season.
Sissons, 32, played 66 regular-season games and 22 playoff games for the Vegas Golden Knights during the 2025-26 season. He finished the regular season with six goals and five assists before elevating his play when it mattered most, adding two goals and six assists during Vegas’ playoff run to the Stanley Cup Final.
This contract marks the next chapter in Sissons’ NHL career after spending the 2025-26 season with the Golden Knights and the first 11 seasons of his career with the Nashville Predators. Originally selected 50th overall by Nashville in the second round of the 2012 NHL Draft, Colton has built a reputation as one of the league’s most dependable two-way forwards and a respected veteran presence.
This contract reflects Colton’s experience, leadership, and continued value while reinforcing the Maple Leafs’ belief in him as an important addition to the organization’s forward group.
