The Dallas Stars have invited Kingston Frontenacs defenceman Jake Murray to participate in their annual prospect development camp in Frisco, Texas.
Murray had 5 goals, 32 assists and 37 points in 65 games for the Kingston (OHL) in 2021-22, his third season of Junior hockey. In the OHL Playoffs, the Oakville native had 7 points (3G, 4A) in 11GP.
The 6-foot-3, blueliner was one of the Frontenacs’ top players, serving as an assistant captain, for his second season, while posting a plus-25 rating.
The camp roster currently features 21 players, including 11 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders. The team’s annual development camp will run from Monday, July 11 to Friday, July 15 at Comerica Center.
