The Toronto Maple Leafs have invited London Knights Forward Sean McGurn to participate in their annual prospect development camp in Etobicoke, Ontario.
McGurn had 20 goals, 53 assists and 73 points in 66 games for London in 2021-22, his second season of OHL hockey. In the OHL Playoffs, the Ottawa native had 4 points (1G, 3A) in 7GP.
The 5-foot-10, centre was one of the Knights’ top players, serving as an assistant captain, for the team, while posting a plus-14 rating as the team’s No.1 centreman.
At the camp players will undergo medicals and on-ice testing in addition to practices and media availabilities. Previously current Maple Leafs Assistant GM, Player Development Hayley Wickenheiser and her staff oversaw the camp.
