We’re proud to announce that forward Michael Carcone has signed a two-year, $3.5 million contract extension with the Utah Mammoth. The deal carries an average annual value of $1.75 million and runs through the 2027-28 NHL season.

Carcone, 30, played 79 regular-season games and six playoff games for the Mammoth during the 2025–26 season. He finished the regular season with 16 goals and 15 assists before adding two goals during the postseason, continuing to bring depth and grit to Utah’s forward group. Carcone set multiple career highs on the year, including games played (79), assists (15), points (31), power-play goals (3), power-play points (4), average time on ice per game (12:44), and plus/minus (+4).

This extension follows the one-year, $775,000 contract Carcone signed with Utah in July 2025. Since joining the organization in June 2024, Michael has become a valuable contributor on and off the ice, making an impact in the community by hosting celebrations for World Down Syndrome Day and organizing the inaugural Carcone Cup in June 2026, efforts that earned him the team’s Community-Obsessed Award.

This extension reflects Michael’s continued development and contributions in Utah while reinforcing the Mammoth’s belief in him as an important part of the organization’s future.
