Cameron Crotty will be returning to the Minnesota Wild organization after the club claimed the defenceman off waivers from the Ottawa Senators.
Crotty, 27, previously spent the 2024-25 season within the Wild organization after signing a one-year contract with Minnesota as a free agent in July 2024. He played with the Iowa Wild, where he served as team captain and took on a leadership role with the AHL club.
In August 2025, Crotty signed with the Ottawa Senators organization, spending the majority of the 2025-26 campaign with their AHL affiliate, the Belleville Senators. He also appeared in six regular-season games with Ottawa before making an appearance in Game 3 of the team’s first-round playoff series against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Following his time in Ottawa, Crotty now returns to the Wild organization, bringing his experience in both the AHL and NHL back to Minnesota.
